Btw, I just got a random E-mail from PETA.
Honestly, that association is overrated. They attack everyone for everything.
Animals used for entertainment, food, clothing, testing and exploitation. They have something to say about all that.
Why don't we free the animals from the zoos? That way they can all be wild and roaming around. Free to attack anyone anywhere and since most are clearly stronger than human beings, we can help them escape extinction by becoming extinct in their place?
Let's all become vegetarians. Not like that's a bad thing. But the PETA hypocrites had better all be vegetarians. Stop eating mock meat with the thought that it's chicken or fish or mutton. Let's see you call it just soy and not meat.
I hope the Eskimos freeze to death in the artic zones because they can't use the skin of seels and polar bears to protect themselves. It's better if we allow one of the the oldest civilisations in the world to go bust. Oh wait, I'm sure they can find an alternative like faux fur/leather in the Antarctic to keep them warm right.
Let's test new drugs on human beings and risk spreading to an entire population. I mean it's better humans die than rats who pass one vicious diseases to die isn't it. What about you people stop putting up mouse and rat traps because you're afraid the critters will contaminate your food? It's okay to let them run around and contaminate everything. It's better for us to die than to test a virus immunisation on a rat right?
What if we didn't have our pets? The dogs, cats, rabbits, birds and fished we all love like our own children? The love we share with them is meaningless isn't it? We're not allowed to imprison them! It's better for them to run around free and rabies infected. That way everyone will be happy when they get their 16 injections for Rabies. Who wants clean animals eh.
Found the stuff i said unreasonable and stupid? That's Peta for you. Pamela Anderson is their spokesperson. She doesn't wear fur because she doesn't wear anything more than a lycra bikini most of the time. She is, therefore the only person who can help them advocate.
From my point of view, Peta is stupid and unreasonable.
Let's be more realistic people. No matter how much we want to love and care for the animals around the world, we need to ensure our own survival first. I want to see one of those Peta people choose the life of an animal over their own.
Maybe the rest of you may think other wise, but this blog is half mine, not yours. I'll say what i think.
If you're an animal lover like me, you can support organisations like The World Wildlife Fund[i'm a member], the SPCA[both Revv and i are members], Animal Rescue, NGC and the Zoos around the world which help ensure the survival of each animal spiecies as well as educate us about the animals. I don't know about Peta but the Zoo was where i learnt how to treat animals with love and respect. So to hell with Peta everyone. I'd rather support more realistic causes when it comes to animals. Don't buy fur, cut down on meat, volunteer at the SPCA, love animals like family.
