Hello everyone!
Today started out rough but got better by the hour. (:
The kids' Xmas party at the CC was today. It went great! I love my YEC family really. We're all from different walks of life but when we get together it seems like we've known each other for ages. Anyway the emcee for the evening had a thing for roads/highways/cars. She was alright but she got pretty weird later on. I WAS THE DJ TONIGHT! Yay me! Of course Shawn was there to help me. Priya too. Thank you very very much. Managed to put everything together and it went well. Pretty fun even for the adults. The minister mingled with us as usual. It's becoming hard to see him as a minister and not just another one of the PA members usually walking around the CC. After the whole party was over, we went into the conference room to eat and chit chat and of course dish out the latest gossip. Got to know Priya much better. She's 28 and has a great personality. And you can tell she really loves being a teacher as well. Vik came back after a pretty long time today. He's been busy with work as usual. Other than that it was just Shawn teasing me. We made plans together though. Lol.
Revethi's coming over tmr to bake! I mean she's doing the baking. I'm just doing the icing part. I'm actually good at that so if anyone wants really pretty icing contact me! I'm getting so boring even my "fan mail" has stopped. Lol okay fine it wasn't fan mail. Some were clear-cut hate mail. But hey, at least it was something. Revethi has almost completely stopped blogging because of her obsession with hindi movies. Crazy girl. So here i am trying to bring some life to the blog and of course, failing miserably. I need to get out more. One ladies night outing can't do any harm right? There're chalets coming up though. Melanie's, and Gaya's New Year's Day chalet as well!
The new year's going to be really different. Hopefully much better and full of opportunities and love and of course some luck for everyone. I don't know what you guys pray for when you go to your place of worship but i always pray for peace and love and for everyone to be happy. Sounds like something out a pageant right? Pageants have made it a joke to say things like that seriously. But really, it's all i can hope for. When everyone's happy, everyone else around that person is happy. I think. The last time i went to the temple(which was in like april?), i prayed for someone to move on and be happy. And true enough, they did. And i was happy for them. Still am when i clearly shouldn't be. See, He works wonders. He may be represented differently in various religions, but He is still one being. Every religion has a way of putting it across to their people, a direction given to them by mere mortals. We can't see God. At least, that's what i believe. We're still fighting though. The entrie world is at war even when all the religions show some form of connection to each other. I mean aren't similarities a good thing?
You're all confused about your faith if you ask me. Seek spiritual counselling. You people clearly need it.
Other than that, i don't think i have anything else to say. I'm pretty sure there was but i forgot. I'm going to go back to (attempting) to stum "I'm Yours" and then watch a hindi movie about dance, which i dearly miss right now. Can't wait for SYF when Rekha, Thulasi and i have to go back and teach our juniors their routine.
