Monday went by so fast! Lol. Today was games day! Well not really. Just that there were 7 of us sat around playing board games and eating and goofing away. Haha. Interesting to see how many games we could cover. LOTR, Taboo, UNOstacko,Carom, Cluedo etc. Brought out the vicious/cunning side of Revethi though. She's like the Cluedo master or something. It's impressive to watch her play. I of course, being a 100% social person was absolutely horrible at playing the game. My analytical skills are nil/non-existent/mucho-existential/zilch. Therefore, i suck at cluedo. Although i still think it's really fun! Nevermind. We shall talk about my horrible analytical skills another time.
My aunt came over to take measurements for saree blouses for my mum and me. We needed new blouses for the upcoming wedding. I can't wait to see how mine's going to look like. It's going to have a big window(:
I'm so bored right now. Watching LOTR with Maithilli while typing. We're planning to watch all three. I know that Maithilli's going to fall asleep in about 40mins? We started watching the first disk out of 9 about 30mins ago.
Thinking if i should put up more cool sites for you guys. Realised that a lot of you are reading this. Thank you for the good feedback thus far. Now that i've opened my bigfatmouth, i bet tomorrow some idiot's gonna tag us and say something ''oh your blog sucks cause you're mean''. What he/she is probably trying to say is '' You're so brutally honest that i've decided to change myself". One can only hope really. Lol. Arch's papers are starting tomorrow! GOOD LUCK ARCHIE! You can do it! The girl's been studying so hard that her normally flawless face actually has scars! Battle scars would be a better word. You know like you study at the expense of your face. It becomes oily and pimple prone and stuff all so you can get good grades and go to uni and suffer the same fate. Cycle of life. Correction. Cycle of Life Singapore edition. Seriously. I wonder which Singaporean teenager has a very interesting life. Maybe during secondary school/junior college/polytechnic years? But after that? You become a nobody don't you? You have to start building your life from there. Of course there are the different paths people take. Some might decide to become businessmen. Others might become media celebrities. That would be a stupid path to take though. I mean, people think Singapore is part of China and some of these local celebs are so smug about being celebrities here. Sometimes seeing those teenagers and young adults dancing on tv and all sets you thinking. Are you guys planning to dance your whole lives? Are you even up to par to last more than your prime? What about a stable job? Every indian seems to be aiming for an average job with an average salary. Enough to buy a HDB flat and have a family. What about aiming higher? What about being ambitious? We really need to rethink our lives. Time to start being ambitious people. Afterall, money does make the world go round. I just can't wait to get a degree and join SIA. Well, that is if i get through it. Practical reasons. It's good money. You travel for free. You get an allowance. Your transport to work is free. Your family gets to travel at discounted prices. You have reasonable rest days. Since i intend to go into the social line (PRO,HRM etc) it's good experience. For glamorous reasons. They're pretty and witty. Most of them are degree holders. You represent Singapore in a way. You're voted one of the world's best! I know it's just a waitress in the air and all but hey, you earn big bucks and you travel the world. So why not? I'm attracted to all that glitters and this life does. Lol. Of course i don't intend for it to become a serious job. Only 2years (:
Okay i was ranting. I need to stop ranting.
Supposed to go to the museum tomorrow. Yes i'm going to the museum. I actually like the place. History intrigues me. And of course i wanna take lotsa pictures! I have a whole list of strange places to visit. Great photog locations. Of course i'm not going to disclose any here right now. I will after i've been to the place, taken my pictures and published them. Go find your own creative spots man. If i list them out now, some people are sure to leech. Last thing i want is people having similar photos taken.
I don't know how i come up with these things you know.
